The TDS Policy and Research team is delighted to welcome Roisin Shannon who joins us in a newly created role as a Social Value and Programme Officer.

Roisin will play a key role in helping TDS to embed, strengthen and champion its Social Impact Framework. She’ll be making sure TDS not only delivers social value across its work but also measures it clearly and communicates it confidently.

Social value impact is the positive difference an organisation makes to people and communities. For TDS Group, this includes resolving disputes, supporting landlords and helping those at risk of homelessness to access stable homes.

While the TDS Charitable Foundations in England and Scotland are already achieving great outcomes, Roisin’s role will help strengthen how social impact is tracked, reported and showcased.

This will maximise the opportunity for every partnership, service, and investment to contribute to social good. Roisin will also lead on supporting the charitable initiatives we fund in Northern Ireland.

Roisin brings over 15 years’ experience in international development and humanitarian work, with a particular focus on education and community outcomes. This is invaluable for supporting the growth of TDS’s social impact ambitions.

Roisin's new role will help strengthen how TDS Charitable Foundation measures, communicates, and maximises its social impact.
