Enfield Citizen Advice Bureau

The grant was awarded to establish the Enfield Housing Alliance Forum, comprising of landlords, statutory & voluntary agencies. A regular forum for ongoing dialogue and engagement with the main objective to be education and raising awareness to engage landlords.


Leeds University Union

An innovative buddying scheme delivering peer-to-peer support to other students, particularly those transitioning from Halls of Residence. The focus of support centred on both pre and post rental agreement covering a range of areas, including health and safety, landlord negotiation and fixtures and fittings.


Brent Private Tenant's Rights Group t/a Advice for Renters

Funding was awarded to address the lack of knowledge of tenants’ rights and responsibilities among migrant workers and refugees living in the worst conditions in houses in multiple occupation in Brent. This was achieved through the appointment of a dedicated worker to address gatherings or migrant and refugee renters.


Stride Partnership

Funding was awarded to enable the delivery of a twelve-month programme of training workshops, aiding tenants to gain awareness of their tenant rights and responsibilities. In most cases, this is to be delivered in different languages (through an interpreter).
