We’re excited to announce that the My Housing Issue Gateway website has been recognised as Runner-Up for “Best Innovation” and “Best Use of Digital by a Charity” at the Digital Impact Awards!
Developed by the TDS Charitable Foundation in partnership with PocketApp, the Gateway is a pioneering online platform created to empower tenants to resolve their housing issues.
Every month, thousands of tenants in England use the My Housing Issue Gateway to access reliable, personalised action plans to address common housing problems. By simplifying what can often be a confusing and stressful process, the platform saves tenants’ time and gives them the resources to exercise their housing rights.
This recognition at the Digital Impact Awards is a big milestone for everyone involved. These prestigious awards set an industry benchmark for digital communications and celebrate the best work in the field.
A massive well done to everyone who contributed to this transformative project – from the TDS Charitable Foundation and PocketApp teams to the many housing and legal experts and tenants who helped shape the tool.
The Gateway has been a truly collaborative, cross-sector initiative. It has attracted backing from tenant organisations like Generation Rent, as well as landlord groups such as the NRLA, reflecting a shared commitment to making it easier for renters to access the right advice and support.
Here’s to building on this success and continuing to innovate and make it simpler for tenants to find help for their housing problems.
